If you have ever been shopping in Manhattan’s trendy Meat Packing District, you will be as excited as we are about the opening of a new boutique in Bucktown this fall. Roslyn is due to open October 6, at 2035 N. Damen.

Owner, Roslyn Dulyapaibul grew up in Chicago. Upon graduating form Cornell University with a degree in Textiles and Apparel Management she worked in merchandising for Abercrombie & Fitch and J.Crew in NYC. Roslyn’s vision is to fill, what she believes is a void in the retail sector of the city. “Living in NYC definitely elevated and refined my personal style and I could never find any of the new labels here in Chicago.â€?

Mum for now about the roster of lines, Roslyn will showcase both new and established designers from NYC, Los Angeles, and Europe, for women ages 20-35. Each collection will be sophisticated with an edge. In addition to carrying women’s clothing, handbags, and fine jewelry, Roslyn will also offer a small collection for men. “I have made a point to limit my assortment to no more than four of each item so that no one will “run into themselves” on the street.â€?

The rustically designed boutique will feature Brazilian walnut floors, exposed brick, antique brass light fixtures and chandeliers illuminating from above. Additionally, artwork from various NYC and L.A. photographers and painters will be on display.
