Guess who’s good and who’s bad?
I know I’m a little late on this, but we just posted this to the magazine. I’m not up to my usual snarky commentary. I was very kind.
Well clearly the Emmy’s are awards for the ‘boob’ tube (that’s what my Dad calls television). There was cleavage everywhere. In some cases, it was downright scary.
The major looks of the evening? Cleavage, purple, lace and huge cocktail rings. If I hear once more about Tyra Banks
wearing a stunning black lace Georges Chakra gown (valued at $50,000
and complemented by $3.5 million in Chopard jewelry), I may vomit.
We can’t show everybody so here are some honorable mentions. Runners
up for best dressed include; Debra Messing in an Alberta Ferretti white
tiered tulle gown, Portia de Rossi in grey Zac Posen, Calista Flockhart
in Derek Lam, Katherine Heigl in Escada, and Megan Mullally in Badgley
I may be alone that I didn’t care for Kyra Sedgwick in her Armani Prive gown. It was stunning, but more fitting for the Oscars. And her husband, Kevin Bacon looked odd trying to stand next to her with his body 3 feet away to make room for the giant organza flower.
