There is nothing like a good black tie party to get me in the mood for the holidays. Especially when you get to dress up and be all girlie. I though it was time to do a little web window shopping for some holiday frocks. I think this will be part of a continuing feature at least until I have put away my party shoes. Yes, I think so. Care to join?

I’m thinking full-on glam with these picks:

Words can not express how much I love this dress. It oozes Hollywood glamor. Deco Beaded Tulle Evening Gown, c.1930. There is only 1 so whoever gets it first…wins. $1950 Vintage Textile

Matthew Williamson Erte Silk Embroidered Dress
Seeing a trend here?  More glitz and glam form the 40’s with this stunner. The dress has sequin detailing on the main body of the dress from the waist down. With patent black pumps and a silver clutch…you will be the belle of the ball. $1982 Net-a-Porter.

Tibi Strapless Empire Dress
Red with grey! Who woulda thunk it? Isn’t it smashing? Just don’t wear it with the purple suede boots they show on the site. Try some pewter pumps instead. $460 Edressme

Stella McCartney Wide Strap Dress
Understated elegance all the way. $1950 Tracey Ross. Not sure what shoes to wear? How about these below? Pedro Garcia Divine Peep-Toe Pumps in plum silk. $330 Net-a-Porter
