New York Fashion Week Fall 2007. Pretty Girl Glamour at Chris Han 2007. Second City Style Fashion Blog

February 3, 2007 • New York Fashion Week Fall '07

Chris Han’s collection asks what it mean to be a pretty girl this fall. Long, flowing hair and blushing cheeks accessorized form-fitting dresses, as well as skirts, pants and jackets that are polite, but not afraid to put up a fight when necessary. Long dressing gloves, transparent albeit lightly-sparkled blouses and elaborate, feminine dresses give the collection an elegant flair, while matte-looking darker pieces with bits of muted metal make it rock.

Color Palette: Shiny muted pinks, silvers, ivories, deep greys, and textured/metallic shades of black. She’s got just enough fur to keep in sync with the delightfully Deco undertone and Matted black pieces punctuate the collection.

Key Looks: Rosy-beige tones are the color highlights of the collection while the major shine tends to be relegated to the dresses and skirts (one cropped jacket being the exception). Also, note the jackets the land up right below the waist or extend far beyond. Pants are slim and dark and usually function to balance an ensemble. Simple black belts are the prevailing accessory. Very wearable.
