M-A-C makeup artist, Chrsitian McCulluch said the look was "fresh from hiking" using earthy tones of clay, taupe and terracotta on the models. ‘Ladyblush‘ and ‘Pleasureful Blushcremes‘ were applied on the cheek apples and across the bridge of the nose for a burnished effect. Except for a glittery brown (Root Cream Colour Base) on the lids, the face was matte, including the lips. No lining, no mascara…nada.
Please don’t try this disco/punk look at home. Grey Ant designer Grant Krajecki’s dark color palette of grays and blacks called for a brighter face according to makeup artist, Tiffany Johnston. She used ‘Fuschsia Perfect Cream Colour Base‘ to carve out high cheekbones then added a forest-green winged eye and pop orange lip shine.
To compliment the Bonnie and Clyde look M-A-C makeup artist Romy Solemani chose an urbanely attitude-laced femininity. She circled an intense teal liner tight around the lash line to give a pop of color and finished lips in a soft warm-toned concealer.
The modern beatnik look. The makeup was not to make a statement or overpower the clothes so makeup artist Rie Omoto went for subtly with a sheer butter-gold on the lids and milk chocolate in the crease of the eyes, set against black eyelashes, lips had a wintry flush with a blotted trace of wine-y ‘Dubonnet Lipstick‘.
