There were two major things made an impression on me at Fendi. Number one: there was a whole lot of fur. I think almost every look had a least a little fur. Secondly, virtually everything was belted at the waist. The nipped in waist and defined shoulder is going to be a very important silhouette next fall.
Besides the fur, there was plenty of leather and a little tweed, in shades of black, brown, and gray, pepped up with a bit of turquoise and russet red. Bell sleeves and shawl collars were some major details, and the geometric patterns that appeared on a lot of the coats had a Navajo blanket feel (but a very luxe, probably cashmere blanket, of course).
