Moschino is always a little quirky and dare I say, costumey – but always in a good way. For instance, this season was old-school glamour crossed with a bit of schoolgirl chic; an unlikely combination. Luxe furs and satins done in bubbly silhouettes were paired with red shoes (ruby slippers) and black or white opaque tights.
The key colors were black, winter white, silver, and ruby red, and once again, belted waists and bell-shaped poet sleeves made an appearance on the runway. Cropped sleeves and jackets paired with short gloves were also important, and Moschino was one of the few shows that had models wearing sunglasses (black, reflective, and generally face-obscuring).
