Milan Fashion Week ’07. Architectural Precision at Jil Sander. Second City Style Fashion Week Blog.

February 22, 2007 • Fashion Shows

Clean lines and perfectly tailored silhouettes – that’s what you look for at Jil Sander.  This season, designer Raf Simons delivered exactly what we expected and more: sleek little shifts and suits cut with utter precision, topped with clean-lined coats.  All of it was done in a palette of cool neutrals combined with blue-violet and metallics like silver and copper.

The slim-fitting dresses are bound to be popular, especially the blue turtleneck dress and little black shifts.  The leather coats that appeared to carved around the body also stood out, as well as the cape-like coats (it’s going to all about the cape next winter).  The models’ hair was pulled straight back and the makeup and accessories were both minimal, in order to let the clothes take center stage.
