Muted but still rich colors, masterful draping, and the judicious use of prints and metallics were the focus of the Dries Van Noten runway. These pared down separates and casual dresses were right on trend but not overdone; they would fit right in with most women’s wardrobes – and they would not look dated in a year or two. Despite the attention given to wild, showstopping collections, Dries gave women what they need every season: beautiful, luxurious clothes.
