It’s pretty hardcore: lots of leather, no lace, short skirts and lots of shine and shimmer. This collection is not for the weak-hearted. Nevertheless, Barbara Bui manages to make it wearable and even something you want. Given her choice of dark and dramatic hues, she used skins and textured styles that added depth and attitude with making ensembles look like costumes. Cropped jackets, patent leather pants and even fur coats were balanced with the use of matte jerseys and lightweight knits– A leather shirt is paired with loose-fitting trousers and even a leather dress stays within the bounds of Taste when paired with footless tights and cute mod boots. For the inner chic that rocks in every woman.
