Well, here they are… the top trends from Paris for Spring 2007!

The Clash
As opposed to last spring when one loud color was enough, the trend this season is multiple brights in one fabulous ensemble. Here’s the trick: pair a primary color (red, yellow, blue) with a secondary color (green, orange, purple). For this spring season, don’t be afraid of color!

Nautical Notions
If opposing colors don’t float your boat, perhaps spring’s nautical themes will. Think navy and white, lots of stripes, and gold accessories. This theme can become a super preppy look (when paired with white pants and top-siders) or turned into an alternative punk look (when paired with skinny jeans and flats).

Neon Bright Colors
Spice up your closet with something different! Layer a hot pink tank under black cardigan for a pop of color. Really outrageous? A little. Really fun for the spring? Absolutely. Try American Apparel’s Highlighter collection — this company makes plain cotton t-shirts but in the most fantastic colors.

Still popular this season…
• Gladiator sandals: a much more fashionable alternative to the plastic flip-flop and yet just as comfortable
• White: perhaps an obvious trend for the spring as it is always classic and always classy (from the crisp button down to comfy linen pants).
• Flashy sunglasses: my personal favorite accessory is a bold pair of sunglasses (I suggest Ray-Ban’s classic Wayfarer).
