Bloomingdale’s to host first U.S. trunk show

(NEW YORK) Bloomingdale’s will host a Chanel Fall/Winter 2007 fashion show and luncheon fundraiser on May 11 at its 59th & Lexington flagship store. Hosted by Bloomingdale’s chairman and CEO Michael Gould with luncheon co-hairs Marcia Mishaan and Claude Wasserstein, the runway show on the fifth floor—followed by a seated luncheon on the designer fourth floor—marks the first Fall 2007 trunk show for Chanel in the U.S. Bloomingdale’s has underwritten the entire event, and is pledging 10 percent of designer sales from that day toward the NYU Child Study Center. Tickets are still available for $250 each by calling (212) 263-4763—but hurry, as seating is limited.
