May 7, 2007 • Fashion

It’s no secret that Gisele has hit the road after failing to persuade VS that she was worth the extra dough. YSL Taps Gisele Bundchen
Marc Newson to model on the men’s side
Gisele Bundchen in the Fall/Winter 2007 YSL campaign

(NEW YORK) Gisele Bundchen may have bid adieu to Victoria’s Secret, but she’s welcomed Yves Saint Laurent with open arms. The Brazilian supermodel has been cast by Stefano Pilati to star in his Fall/Winter 2007 campaign. Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin replaced shutterbugs of seasons past Juergen Teller, Mert Alas, and Marcus Piggott to shoot Bundchen frolicking about in the streets of Paris at dusk. Over on the men’s front, meanwhile, industrial designer Marc Newson—known to most in fashion circles as stylist Charlotte Stockdale’s other half—will model in YSL’s men’s campaign.
