Sunglass company Solstice (Made in the Shade) is spinning off a new retail concept
dedicated to selling slightly lower-priced brand-name eyewear. SUNSIGHTS by SOLSTICE, specializes in a wide assortment of entry level designer fashion sunglass brands retailing in the $58.00 – $100.00 range. Brands include; A/X Armani Exchange, Marc by Marc Jacobs, Juicy Couture, Diesel, Emporio Armani, BOSS, MaxMara, Kate Spade, Lacoste, Michael by Michael Kors, Sean Jean, Coach, as well as high end designer names such as Dior, Gucci and Giorgio Armani. In total there will be over 800 pairs from which to chose.

"Sunsights will
allow us to roll out more stores in secondary markets," said Ed Jankowski, chief operating officer of Solstice Marketing Concepts.

units are planned to open this year. Solstice will have 95 stores by the end of this week.
