Oh no! How much more can we possibly take? We get it. Fashion (clothes) are too expensive, but is this really the answer? Ashley Judd has signed a deal with Goody’s Family Clothing Inc., the moderate-priced (read cheap) retailer based in Knoxville, Tenn., to introduce a fashion line this fall. SJP’s deja Bitten.
Goody’s will launch three exclusive labels: AJ, Love, Ashley, and Ashley Judd. The collections will range from organic and knit T-shirts and sweaters to blazers, blouses, cardigans and pants. It will also include an extensive denim offering featuring Judd’s signature stitching (she sews?) on the back pockets and floral details on the inside waistband.
Accrding to WWD, Judd played an integral role in the creation of the line, including leading shopping trips with designers, brainstorming ideas and editing the collection. (Wow). Goody’s operates more than 380 stores in 21 states in the U.S.
