That smile on my face and spring in my step is because I had just gotten a great deal on a handbag in Florence!

I wish I could say it’s good to be back, but that would be a lie. After almost two-weeks in Italy (Lake Como, Florence, Candeli Tuscany and Rome) I’m Italy sick. I needed more time to roam Rome! I know you are wondering, did you buy a lot? Lord knows I wanted to, but Europe is no deal for Americans right now. That’s fo’ sure! Mind you, I did get a pretty good deal on a couple of handbags.

I was poised with my camera however. Yes, I took beautiful shots of the scenery and wonders of the areas I visited, but I photographed good fashion, bad fashion, totally hot and well-dressed men (sorry honey) and outlet shopping. I had to visit the outlets outside of Florence, right? You would expect nothing less! Stay tuned for discount Prada and the like.

Right now, let’s start with some of the bad…shall we?

I was transfixed by the color and fauxness of this jacket in Bellagio.

My husband dubbed her ‘Bridget Jones’, which I thought was brilliant. I couldn’t capture the shortness or tightness of the dress nor the totally exposed back replete with bra strap, but trust me, it was all there.

Chicks on bikes! In Rome.

Chicks on bikes, in a dress, in Rome.

It’s mostly about exposure in Rome, then again it was hot!

Mind you, judging from the picture above…I sure blended in like the tourist I was!

You are too sweet! I just changed the photo because I found one of me in my natural habitat…SHOPPING!
    I hope you are well!

  3. sweetheart, it’s been nearly 8 months and I am still sick with longing for italy. I’m convinced (as is my husband) that I have an italian soul. It felt like home.
We’ll have to swap stories (and pix!) or our fashion sightings abroad. I was overwhelmed by the abundance of good and gaudy. It was fabulous to say the least.
Don’t make us wait long for scoop! (I missed you dearly, by the way!)
