The thing I absolutely love about Vika’s new fall line is how easy the piece are to wear, and how beautifully they drape and fit. You won’t have a care in the world when you can just throw on one of these dresses. Second City Store is featuring two Vika black wool dresses with black satin accents that we adore.
I like this belted wool dress, because it accentuates the waistline.
If you have great legs or a pretty neck and shoulders, I’d suggest this ruffled dress.
All of Vika’s pieces are fitted, yet so tastefully designed. Nothing is too tight, too low, too short or too revealing, yet you can still feel like you look hot! All of the details feature beautiful finishing, with hidden zippers and perfect top-stitching.
I must own this black wool jacket with a black satin bow belt. I always say, "You can’t be too rich, too thin, or have too many black jackets"… But seriously, this black jacket is really different than anything I have! With the short sleeves, I could wear it with long gloves, or I can experiment with a different colored long sleeve blouse or top underneath. It looks great with jeans, and I can dress it up with black pants or even dress it up more with a black satin skirt. This jacket, just like the dresses, can be casual for the weekend and transition into work attire (and can transition once again for cocktail hour!)
These mustard and golden hues were all over the Fall ’07 runway, so here’s a chance to update your wardrobe. This adorable top with the tie detail at the back neckline is so comfortable because you just slip it on and wear it. Made of stretch silk, it’s another easy piece you "have to have" to just throw on to make a quick impact. Wouldn’t it look great with tweeds, wools, sweaters and plaids for fall? And soon you can wear it for all of those holiday parties that seem to creep up on you. This time — you’ll be ready!
The golden beige belted tunic was super cute when I tried it on. I admit, I was a bit fearful of the color, but with the satin shine it actually gave my face a healthy glow. You won’t ever feel too casual or too dressy wearing this top.The belt makes you look slim and sleek, and the longer length allows you to move. Would I throw this one on a lot? You bet…you’ll be so sick of me in it!
