Blingy, blingy, bling. Tiffany & Co. has announced its
turning it’s focus to frames. Not picture frames (which they already sell) but eyeglass frames. Just in time for the holidays, Tiffany Eyewear has turned to Luxottica which will be responsible for the collection’s
design, production and distribution.
The line will include opthalmic and sun frames, and will feature a range of styles, from a sterling silver and diamond Lace model to the Tiffany
Bubbles (,frames with bezel-set crystals running along the side like in the above photo). Some styles will be adorned with iconic Tiffany symbols, such
as the "Return to Tiffany" frame with the brand’s signature sterling
silver oval plaque on the side, the Tiffany 1837 frame and Tiffany
Atlas, which features roman numerals inside a sterling silver medallion
on the side, according to WWD.
will be sold at Tiffany & Co. locations in the U.S., as well as
finer department and optical stores. Prices are not yet available.
