Boots. Riding and Biker Styles Make For Happy Feet. Second City Style Fashion Blog

October 31, 2007 • Accessories

As Joanne Molina reported on my NYC footwear photos in NYC Street Report. Boots Are Back, last week…you don’t even know the half of it!

On the return home from my photo shoot, there was a subway ‘mishap’ and all the riders on my line had to find another way home…during rush hour no less! The buses were too packed to ride and the cabs were changing shifts, so there was little choice but to walk. In my case…32 blocks! Now, my shoes were comfortable for about 20 blocks, but after that, I was in trouble.

My shoes/boots are what I call "Chicago Comfortable" (meaning I can walk about a half mile before I scream). Suddenly, style and comfort are sounding much better. Fortunately, your feet can be happy in the riding boot and motorcycle boot this fall.

Wear your flat boots with skirts, dresses and with your jeans tucked in and a large chunky sweater. You can’t go wrong and neither can your feet. I’m off to buy a few pairs myself. Carrie Bradshaw…be damned!
