Second City Style’s 12 Days Of Christmas (Shopping). Day 2: Bonnie Brown’s Picks. Second City Style Fashion Blog

November 27, 2007 • Shopping

Whoever said Christmas is only fun when kids are involved couldn’t have been
more wrong. Sure, kids have fun paging through toy catalogs circling entire
pages of toys and goodies they can’t wait to open up on Christmas. But I have to
admit I have had just as much fun scowering the internet, paging through fashion
magazines and scoping out the latest fashions in the shops during my lunch break
to come up with my Christmas list. While the child in me could have included a
whole number of items, I pared it down to these five key pieces that if I should
receive even one this year it will surly leave me giddy as a ten year-old

1. One thing I have always wanted, even as a little girl, is a
charm bracelet, and this Judith Jack ID Bracelet is the perfect start to
creating a truly unique piece. $110 nordstrom.

2. I have to admit,
while I love to read Vogue, I love looking at the pictures even more, so this
In Vogue picture book will keep me busy during the frigid winter months when I
don’t want to move from my sofa. $60 barnesandnoble.

3. Out of the
many bags I own, I truly do need a functional work bag like nobody’s business,
but who wants to put a necessity on their Wish List?…Not me. That’s why I
picked this Erotokritos Handbag, it’s so hot I’ll want to use it even if I’m not
headed to the office. $547.50 shopbop.

4. I certainly don’t need another
pair of boots, but these Loeffler Randall boots are just begging to be owned by me. The color is
perfect and the style is classic, what more could I want? $695 neimanmarcus.

5. Well, I really do want a pair of J Brand Jeans,
and these are the perfect ones, and I promise, that’s all I want, for now at
least. $255 net-a-porter.
