Calvin Klein Inc. is getting into active performance apparel for women, according to WWD.

for spring with plans for a full line in fall 2008, Calvin Klein
Performance will be licensed to G-III Apparel Group Ltd., and is expected to soft-launch
for spring with plans for a full line in fall 2008. G-III Apparel Group Ltd.already holds
Calvin Klein licenses for women’s and men’s better outerwear, and
women’s dresses and suits.

Calvin Klein Performance will cater to women’s sports including yoga,
running, tennis and biking. Using performance fabrics, the line will
include pants, capris, shorts, tank tops, T-shirts, hooded jackets, and
tennis skirts and dresses.
