Golden Globes. The Show Must Go On! Please?

January 7, 2008 • Celebrity Style

We are praying we have some red carpet fashions to critique. Seriously, what else are award shows good for? Let’s hope the strike doesn’t kill the entire awards season. I don’t think fashion can take a recession and a celebrity strike!

Lisa Rinna and Joey Fatone are set to host the 65th Annual Golden Globe® Awards for the TV Guide Network on Sunday, January 13th. However, according to E! News,
the Screen Actors Guild announced Friday that, to maintain
solidarity with striking Hollywood writers, none of this year’s 72
acting nominees will attend the 65th Annual Golden Globe Awards. So far the actors will not cross WGA picket lines
to appear on the Golden Globe Awards as acceptors or presenters," said SAG
President Alan Rosenberg.

So, it does not look good, but we are hopefully optimistic.
