Celebrity Style. The Critics’ Choice Awards Red Carpet.

January 8, 2008 • Celebrity Style

All we have left now were last nights Critic’s Choice Awards and we are assured the Screen Actor Guild Awards on January 27 (as the writers agreed not to picket them) for red carpet inspiration, analyzation and capitulation. We are beyond sad. So we will take great fashion wherever and whenever we can find it.

The impact of the writer’s strike not only hits Hollywood below the money belt it also greatly effects the fashion world. As we all know when a celebrity wears a designer frock on the red carpet, it’s good as gold. What is America to do without our best-dressed, worst-dressed, fashion commentary, fashion police and Who Wore it Better polls? What are we going to do? Better yet, what is A.B.S. (award wear knock-off apparel line) going to do?

Well, here is a taste of  the best from the Critic’s Choice Awards last night:

OK, Katherine Heigl Kelly was not at the awards, but at the L.A. premier of her new movie "27 Dresses." But, doesn’t she look fantastic?

Amanda Bynes on the red carpet at the 13th Annual Critics’ Choice Awards in Narciso Rodriguez.

Kyra Sedgwick breathing some life and color on the red carpet in this stunner by Oscar de la Renta.

Katie Holmes stunning in Lanvin

We are not wild for Brittany Snow‘s Badgley Mischka Platinum dress, but at least it’s not black and makes a statement.

Now fade to black…introducing, the Black Brigade

Angelina Jolie
looking glam in a black trench by Loro Piano.

Juno’s Ellen Page

Marcia Gay Harden

Marion Cotillard

Emily Deschanel

We just had to toss in George Clooney because he’s so damn hot!

Now pray to the fashion Gods that this strike ends in time to save the Oscars! We’re serious.
