Good news Atlanta! Oscar de la Renta plans to open his eighth freestanding store- a two-level store in The
Streets of Buckhead in fall 2009. According to WWD, The Streets of Buckhead is a $1.5
billion development that will consist of 80 luxury boutiques, three world-class hotels, up to 1,000 upscale residential units,
restaurants, sidewalk cafes and 300,000 square feet of office space.
la Renta has secured a 2,850-square-foot space near the intersection of
Buckhead Avenue and Bolling Way. The designer’s clothing and
accessories will be sold in the Atlanta store.
Etro, Bottega Veneta and Loro Piana are among the retailers that will
have boutiques in The Streets of Buckhead, a site that will occupy
