To complete the image of the elegant Italian label, designer Alberta Ferretti will launch a signature fragrance under an agreement with Elizabeth Arden. The perfume, which will debut in Europe in spring of 2009 and the United States that fall, will be followed by a line of skin care products and cosmetics. According to Ron Relleston, executive vice president of global marketing at Elizabeth Arden, "Alberta Ferretti and Elizabeth Arden represent the same high quality value for women." With similar values and definitions of glamor and elegance, I suspect this exclusive fragrance will do quite well. Especially with Alberta Ferretti herself as creative director of the project. Other designer labels under Arden include Badgley Mischka, Nanette Lepore, and Alfred Sung.
