NY Fashion Week Fall ’08. Zac Posen. Indulged Indescretion

February 7, 2008 • New York Fashion Week Fall '08

Summary: Overall, this collection was far from the restrained armies we’ve seen marching down the runway this week. Instead Zac Posen elected to combine colors and textures that were more reminiscent of the vivaciousness of Marc Jacobs’ spring collection — loud and proud. Influenced by Minnie Mouse, many of the models walked down the runway with two pom poms in their hair in bibbed, girlie frocks. Bold tights upheld short, ruffled skirts and embossed velvets and a sheer sheath dress wrapped itself around a sequined tank. Oh, and did I mention the huge feather-like swing-style coat? Enough said.

Colors & Fabrics: Black, white, charcoal, tomato, cream, neon purple, garnet, electric melon, velvet, satin, silk, sheer, sequins, wool, ruffles
