News Flash! Old Navy’s Young Prez Steps Down

February 19, 2008 • Breaking News

It can’t be compared to news like Fidel Castro stepping down, but after only 16 months at the job, Dawn Robertson, president of the Old Navy brand, has left the building. Sadly, but as predicted, the struggling division of Gap Inc. had a
disappointing fall and holiday season.

Wyatt, president of Gap Inc.’s Outlet division, will be acting
president while a search is conducted for a permanent replacement.

appreciate Dawn’s hard work over the past 16 months and wish her all
the best," said Glenn Murphy, chairman and chief executive officer of
Gap Inc. "We’re fortunate to have someone of Tom Wyatt’s caliber and
experience…to guide Old Navy during this transition."

Yeah, good luck with that!
