We love the shift dress and thankfully it’s back in for spring! Since the 50’s the shift dress has been creeping in and out of our wardrobes. A shift is a slim fitting dress which is usually sleeveless and has little or no waist definition (but you can always add a belt) that ends somewhere above the knee.
The shift keeps coming back season after season because it’s so versatile. You can take it from day to night and from the office to cocktails. Not only that, it can hide a multitude of sins…which is always a good thing.
