But this spring, there are no boundaries for what should be the neutral
hue. The secret: think primary colors. Avoid shades like purple, turquoise, and other pastel and jewel tones and try a bold color like red, yellow or blue
to use as a foundation for accents. And for those of you who are
color-phobic try switching out a basic black or white tote for a bright
red bag — soon you you’ll be trying the trench and the dress, as well.
