Earth Day in Chicago. Cut for a Cause.

April 22, 2008 • Beauty

This Earth Day, pitching in is as simple as getting your hair cut! Guise I Chic, a salon located at 2128 N. Halsted in Chicago, is donating 10% of their salon sales to Lifegate, an environmental research company. The brand of products used by the salon, Davines, teamed up with Lifegate to learn how to reduce their CO2 emissions and reduce global warming. In addition, all of Guise I Chic’s stylists are trained to be "zero impact," which means they balance out their carbon footprint by donating money for trees to be planted. So by trying a new style at Guise I Chic, you can help the environment, even if you can’t get more involved on Earth Day today. Who knows?  Maybe you’ll find a stylist you love!
