Celebs can get away with wearing almost anything! From wrapping themselves in bandage gowns to donning feathers and fedoras, celebs are known for their fashion peaks, and fashion no-nos. But if they can wear everything from maxidresses to mini skirts, who’s to say we can’t pull off a fashion risk or two?

Take your cue from these celebrities and see what you can getaway with!

If celebs can do it, why can’t we…

…Pull Off A Loud Outfit!

It’s revenge of the blonde’s! Seems like stars Nicole Richie, Agyness Deyn, and of course, none other than Paris Hilton herself, are best at pulling off bright pieces in a blah world. But did you notice Linday Lohan’s Catherine Malandrino frock at the Scarlet HD TV party? (How could you not, it was bright blue!) Heidi Montag, another blond bombshell, lit up Late Night With David Letterman in her pink Bluemarine negligee-like gown and gold heels. And when was the last time you saw Cameron Diaz without her bright yellow Marni purse or Katherine Heigl without her iconic Valentino red handbag. Celebs want to make a statement when they walk into a room, and wearing tropical prints and bright colors certainly does the trick.

Can you pull it off?
Light up the room with this elegant bright yellow dress. The summery feel will blow everyone’s breath away at the next party.

…Look As Chic As A Frumpster Granny
Hey, Mary-Kate did it with her dumpster chic duds and TK wastes no time pulling on a draped caftan that makes her like she stepped out of a 70s beach commercial. But, really, it’s fun to layer on the off-the-shoulder parkas and the floppy hats because hey, we all want to hide our bodies from the world once in a while — without losing our fashion identity.

Although J. Lo’s Roberto Cavalli sensations and popping pregnant stars like Jessica Alba and Gwen Stefani rival her, Jessica Simpson, seen here in a black floral print maxi-dress, is more frumpy then ferocious, and that’s perfectly fine with her!

Want to go frou frou?
You took can look granny chic with Jessica Alba’s green Corey Lynn Calter Chloe sun dress, a long and flowing look that covers just enough.

…Wear Men’s Clothing
Well, not exactly! But menswear for women is everywhere and celebs will go to great lengths to step out in layered vests, fedoras, pinstripe capris, cap-sleeve button downs, wide-leg trousers, and black pencil skirts. Even plaid and leather have turned business suit-y, topping blouses and leggings for new tough looks that are all the rage (see Lindsay Lohan and Elle Macpherson.) Spring is here, but you can still add menswear accessories without sweating up a storm. Wanna try menswear femme? Start with the basics, pinstripe wide-leg trousers or a tweed pencil, add a crisp blouse and gorgeous heels. For some spunk, choose heels that pop inred or green and throw on a multi-color vest. If Hilary Duff, Anne Hathaway, Agyness Deyn, Victoria Beckham, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Fergie, Eva Longoria, and Gwyneth Paltrow can pull it off — you can too!

Think menswear is just so cool?
A pleated blouse works wonder for looking chic! This sophisticated sleeveless one is perfect for wearing alone with a pair of black skinny pants or working under a black blazer with cap sleeves (They’re so in right now!)
