According to WWD, Stila Cosmetics is jumping into fashion with a partnership with Marchesa.
Founded by Jeanine Lobell in 1994 and owned by the Estée
Lauder Cos. Inc. from 1999 to 2006, was purchased by the private
investment firm Sun Capital Partners in April 2006.
Kangas, who joined Stila as chief marketing officer in January, is
responsible for developing partnerships and overseeing all marketing
activities. One of her first projects? A
new color lineup created with Marchesa’s founders. The colors
used in February for Marchesa’s fall 2008 show were so well received,
said Kangas, the decision was made to add them to the fall 2008 Stila
color collection and showcase the brand’s partnership with Marchesa to

includes three palettes, each with one matte and two shimmery eye
shadow shades and an eyeliner. The Front Row Look is a black-patent
palette with a smoky quartz eyeliner; The Red Carpet Look is a
