With the only constant in fashion being that it changes, that leaves a lot of room to play with things that go on your body. Fashion is an art that helps define who you are on the inside. With the vast array of colors and fabrics available, the possibilities are limitless. Not only that, but it’s quite a bit of fun along the road to self-discovery.

Once in a while a trend latches onto the industry and doesn’t let go. Sometimes it’s completely new and exciting. At other times the look is one of year’s past. My favorite trends are those that revitalize classics. It’s a great way to honor those fashion landmarks. It provides some nostalgia and excitement, and a great look worthy of admiration!

There is no time like the present to start establishing some looks of your own. Need a little help deciding where to get started? Well, here are some things to crave!

First of all, don’t put those scarves away just yet! Currently it is the hottest accessory to covet. This versatile piece of fabric can be worn in a plethora of ways. It’s a brilliant way to spruce up your jeans and tube top for the summer and can add just a splash of color to an otherwise ordinary outfit. So, knot them, wrap them, or drape them — just don’t leave home without one!

As the days are increasingly getting warmer, the hemlines are staying short to allow some relief. This summer you can’t go wrong with a bright-colored mini dress. The mini is perfect for a summer party, a night out with the girls, or a day of shopping. Make a statement with the colors you put on your body, and don’t be afraid to show a little leg this season!

Mini dresses aren’t your style? Not a problem! Sixties and Seventies-style dresses are also a good choice to stay cool. Although they may be floor-length, the loose fit and lightweight fabrics will be enjoyable in the warm days—or nights—of the summertime!

So now that you are ready with your great summer dress and your scarf, top your look off with a pair of sunglasses. Not only will they look fabulous with your summer-wear, your eyes will thank you for the protection! Make sure to take your time when finding your sunglasses. It’s almost as important as shoe shopping!

There are so many exciting new trends out there at the moment. Take advantage of the versatility and spend some time finding the things you love, and then decorate yourself in them. Be fearless when exploring and matching your wardrobe. If you are brave enough, maybe you’ll even start a new trend for everyone to enjoy!
