Fashion queen bee herself, Anna Wintour, has been honored by England’s Queen Elizabeth II for her "services to British
journalism and British fashion in the U.S," according to WWD today. The Vogue editrix was named an OBE, or an Officer of the Civil Division of the Most Excellent Order of the British
Empire (well, isn’t that a mouthful!), by the Queen on her birthday honors list. Also named an OBE was Glenda Bailey of Harper’s Bazaar, who is also a British-born, U.S.-based magazine editor.
Although we don’t really know what an OBE actually does or means, we do keep having hilarious images of Anna Wintour kneeling to be knighted running through our heads. Thanks for that, Queen Elizabeth!See the Top Ten Summer 2016 Trends for Women Over 40
