Belgian designer Maison
Martin Margiela is debuting a new supersized fine jewelry collection, in partnership with
Italy’s Damiani Group. The collection includes necklaces of
giant oval links, a pierced earring magnified to become a chunky ring
and a signet ring made in bracelet proportions.
collection of 14 items is to arrive in November in 14 Margiela
boutiques, along with a selection of fashion retailers, including
Maxfield in Los Angeles, On Pedder in Hong Kong, 10 Corso Como in
Milan, Exception in Madrid and Saba Song in Vienna.
the pieces — in yellow gold, pink gold and silver, with diamonds — will
about $1,100 to $61,800. According to WWD, Margiela plans to create one fine jewelry collection a year.
