Does it seem to you that Brendan Fraser‘s entire career is Mummy movies? Well this weekend at the premiere of the most recent one, The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor, the fashion was, we suspect, more interesting than the film.
Summery and fun while picking up on the Asian themes of the film with its simplicity and architectural influences. Even though, like Natalie Portman, I don’t personally like to wear asymmetrical gowns, Maria rocks this one.
Great color, boring cut. And I don’t think I would have accessorized in gold.
I definitely understand sacrificing comfort for style, but satin in summer? That would be hot, not in the sexy way… in the sweating way. And again with the not-quite-right gold accessories.
Cute, pretty, a little resort-ish… pretty good! The gold shoes are actually appropriate here. The only problem is the necklace– too matchy-matchy for me.
A cool, different dress! With the classic makeup and the monotone effect, we like the statement. But again I have to ask… isn’t it summer? Opaque tights? The look would have worked without them.
Clearly she thought she was attending a winter ball in Gotham City. (I mean, look at that bat-belt!) Note to self, make sure future event dresses don’t photograph transparent.
Scarier than the Mummy!!! Ahhh, those eyes!!!
