News Flash. Chicago Vintage Store to Close.

July 29, 2008 • Shopping

Sadly, 13-year-old Chicago vintage store, Disgraceland, is set to close. The shop recently lost its lease and will be shutting its doors soon.

However, there is a silver lining for us recession-smacked shoppers. Everything in the already-bargain store is on sale. If you are in for some sale shopping for vintage and new pieces, check it out. Everything in the store is at least 50% off, with most things well under $10. Sunglasses and sterling silver jewelry can be found for $6. New hats are $6 to $8, plus all jeans, tops, shoes, etc. are on sale as well.

According to Disgraceland’s website, they are known for their "huge selection of denim including many designer labels, tee’s, and casual work wear." Worth a visit, even if you aren’t a regular bargain shopper! Disgraceland Store is located at
3338 North Clark Street.
