Sweet! DailyCandy was just sold to Comcast for a cool $125
million. According to the New York Times the newsletter which started in 2000 as an e-mail newsletter for young women in New York who were interested in the latest
in shopping and culture, and had money to spend…the company grew to 13 daily and
8 weekly newsletters, reaching 2.5 million subscribers in 11 American
cities and London.
That attracted the interest of Comcast which on Tuesday agreed to buy DailyCandy to add to
its stable of Internet media properties. The deal is
