According to WWD, Club Monaco is weathering the recession storm in Chicago: "After renovating its Michigan Avenue store and launching a
3,000-square-foot-plus location in the Bucktown section last month, the
contemporary brand plans to open another space, with more units
possible in the region."
Club Monaco’s VP of Retail, Tina Gershoff, stated, "It’s just as important of a market as New York." The Second City loves to hear that! The proposed fifth site of the retailer in Chicago hasn’t been decided or released, but Gershoff digs State Street, which is home to Nordstrom Rack, Macy’s and Forever 21.
