Summary: This was the first time I’ve seen a Nuj Novakhett collection, and much of it did not disappoint. Made up of super wearable, modern pieces, the collection was presented in four "Sets" of four looks each. There was some excellent construction and great draping (and some not-so-great draping…), and each "Set" had a clear color composition and point-of-view. A little bit naughty secretary and a little bit fancy-first-date, I would have loved to see a print other than the black & white mini-check presented, but overall, a great introduction to the line!

Color Palette: Red, black, antique white, sand, electric blue, black & white checks

Fabrics & Textures: crepe, silk, rayon, cotton, taffeta

Key Looks: a red & black dress with an exaggerated, stiff peplum, a black one-shouldered cocktail dress with (good) draping, a tailored, perfectly fitted black jumpsuit with cream, ruffled trim, and a sand blouse with a dramatic ruffle trimmed in black piping.
