Summary: Designer Abigail Lorick presented a fantastically theatrical, part fashion show/part photo shoot with a whopping 35 looks…and I wanted every single one! Super feminine but smartly tailored cocktail dresses, gowns, skirts, tops, pants, and even swimsuits rounded out the collection. Shown in over-the-top "rooms" that were art directed by Roanne Adams, the collection had rich but airy fabrics in saturated colors, clever pleats in dresses, and a 1960’s-inspired (but perfectly modernized) point-of-view.
Color Palette: white, cream, slate blue, emerald green, pink, gold, grass green, and floral prints
Fabrics & Textures: cotton, linen, silk, satin, silk shantung, brocade, and tulle
Key Looks: a long printed dress in silk satin, gold linen brocade skirt with a white ruffled blouse, pink & blue tulle and satin "party skirt" with a tiny bustier, and an emerald green silk shantung sheath
