Spotted in the Front Row. Celeb Surprises at Patrik Rzepski, Angel Sanchez, 6119, and GenArt

September 5, 2008 • New York Fashion Week Spring '09

New York Fashion Week is certainly known for starting on a slower note, especially since many of the first events take place on the Wednesday and Thursday before the official kick-off the next day. But while the bigger shows may bring the bigger celeb names, it’s the smaller ones that made a small, but notable impact on us.

Here are a few of the fashion surprises (and we’re sorry to say, a couple of them do include fashion no-nos) to start off our celeb blog portion of New York Fashion Week’s spring runways.

Kelly Osbourne attended the Patrik Rzepski show looking gorgeous in white…

But at the same show, no one told new designer Caillianne Beckerman you can’t pair ankle-length gladiator sandals with floral. Yuck!

Teen Vogue fashion editor Sarah Kuhn may not be a celebrity yet…

But she’s certainly celebufying her trends…Look at those hot little peep toe booties!

Lindsay Price and Mary-Louise Parker were spotted at 6119 Maurice & Ilana Sunderland Presentation looking fabulous in leggings and a red silk dress paired with yellow peep-toes.

Also spotted…a classy Audrina Patridge.

Angel Sanchez‘s presentation rocked but…

Where’s Sandra Bullock??

Didn’t anyone tell actress Bethany Frankel (at GenArt) she can’t wear the same Herve Leger purple and silver bandage dress seen previously on Victoria Beckham? Especially not at Fashion Week!

Shannen Doherty is a bonafide B-lister! Doesn’t that mean she should hire someone to help her change outfits?

There’s no wearing the same dress from the GenArt show to a taping of David Letterman even if they’re both in New York City! Come on, Shannen!
