Summary: They say, a thing of beauty is a joy forever, but last night, Nicole Miller‘s joyous collection was definitely full of beautiful things! From bright prints that spilled right over onto the runway, to cheekily masculine looks, to full and flowing summer gowns, the colorful collection was contagiously happy. The designer balanced structure and draping, color and neutral, and function and humor to create looks that would ease from day to evening. Though some of the looks bordered on too sequiny for me, a gown I immediately crushed on was the Grecian lime green dress with silver sequin detail at the shoulder. It lit up the model with comfort and style. But many of the dresses with at-the-knee hemlines looked comfortable, functional, and flattering as well.

Color Palette: lime green, grey, black, purple, sky blue

Key Looks: a turquoise trench over a dress in the signature print, lime green gown with silver sequin detail, full-capped-sleeve pewter top with black cropped pant
