Summary: About her spring/summer ’09 collection, Monique Lhuillier said "I can’t wait for summertime!" And after viewing the looks, neither can we! Entitled "Luxurious Tropical Island Chic", the Lhuillier line has definitely made summer the most glamorous season of all. Muted tones like wheat and straw came alive in flowing dresses and gowns, their weightless volume highlighted by hardware of copper and bronze. The brightest looks in yellow and turquoise were equally as refined– accessorized in chocolate leather belts and sky high wooden platforms. Next summer, we will certainly aspire to walk the same sexy, stylish beach that inspired Monique Lhuillier and her fabulous collection.
