Summary: Vera Wang‘s Spring collection was full of ephemeral, floaty looks, almost entirely done in silk organza. A dark palette, especially for the season, consisted of black, navy, grey and taupe tones. Future season staples of long jackets and vests appeared in the line, accented by rope-y statement necklaces. Horizontal lines and translucent overlays provided distinction for Wang’s looks, and multiple simple black dresses gave a foundation of wearable, sellable pieces to the collection. A consistent RTW effort by the powerhouse designer.
