Summary: As anyone who was at the tents knows, security bowed down to the mob for one show only… and it was Zac Posen. Did he deliver? I think so. Even though there was not much flashy gimmickry, and the color palette was a soothing pastel array, the designer didn’t let down. Posen provided distinctly American creations, complete with kerchief hems and classic tailoring, but certainly didn’t free himself from flair, which came in the form of ruffles, rouching, and embellishments. It was traditional and comfortable but also modern and romantic. To be so well rounded is a quite a feat!
