The beauty of the bandage dress knows no bounds. Banding, bandage, bondage… call it what you want to call it, it’s no longer just on the runways of Hervé Léger, although arguably Max Azria still does it best. We’re seeing it in some form on the dresses of classic clothiers like Marc Jacobs and Narciso Rodriguez and avant-garde artists like the Mulleavy sisters at Rodarte.
At Hervé Léger, bandage dresses transcended last season’s limitations in color, print, sparkle, ombré, varied proportions and cuts, piping, cutouts, separates and swimwear.
