So many speculations were just proved true! Peter Dundas will take over for Matthew Williamson, who just showed his own collection at Fashion Week, when he leaves Pucci next month. Dundas now works for Revillon, a French furrier, and formerly helmed Emanuel Ungaro. Will the Pucci prints be outside of the expertise of the Norwegian designer? Nahh, he’s worked at Roberto Cavalli and Christian Lacroix and put his time in with print-centric designs. Dundas begins at Pucci October 1st, so we’ll start seeing his influence in the Fall collection in February.
Emilio Pucci is excited about the development and added, "Peter Dundas, who is one of the most promising designers of his
generation, possesses a creative talent and personality that fit with
Pucci’s spirit and with its colourful and modern identity." We’ll look forward to seeing what he does with the line!
