ULTA will open it’s doors at 4 pm today and provide free cosmetic consultations to all. Additionally, the first 100 customers to visit the store will receive an ULTA Gift certificate ranging from $5 to $100!
This store is a welcome addition to the Loop, located at 114 South State Street (just south of Monroe) located conveniently where so many women work.
Lyn Kirby, ULTA CEO and President met the press this morning and described the layout of this urban store, with four floors of what I consider a beauty paradise! The main floor is where you will find fragrances, the Benefit Counter, and exclusive to this location…the Benefit Brow Bar (get your brows shaped during your lunch-hour or coffee break!)
The second floor houses The Color Library which includes all of your favorite cosmetics as well as new ones you can learn to love, all arranged by product. And there are testers on more than half of the products so you can test away!
The third floor is dedicated to hair and has just about every hair care product you can think of (shampoos, styling products, hair color, and so on) and styling tools including irons and blow dryers that you can actually test.
On he top floor is The Salon At Ulta – a full service salon headed up by David Barnett, who brings with him the heritage of fines salons from the UK and New York he was most recently with The John Barrett Salon at Bergdorf Goodman. The salon is a calm and cool modern oasis from the hectic city below. Make a hair appointment by calling 312.279.5081.
