Beauty Babe. Beauty On-the-Go

Does darting out the door, trying to beat the morning traffic, with barely a shoe on, sound familiar? Many of us are pressed for time in the morning. Trying to eat the last of your bagel, and drinking the last sip of coffee, you realize you have not applied your makeup. So, what do you do with only 5 minutes to spare?

When time is of the essence it is important to have products that are easy, universal, and multi-tasking. For quick makeup routines, or on-the-go primping try some of these products for a look that’s easy and flattering…posthaste.

Start with a tinted moisturizer, like Laura Mercier’s Illuminizing Tinted moisturizer ($42). Not only does this product give you a healthy does of moisture and hint of color, but it gives you the most amazing glow! Who would not need this after 4 hours of night’s sleep?

Next apply color, and if possible a multi-purpose product, like Nars the Multiple in Orgasm ($37). Like the name sake of cult favorite, Orgasm Blush, the Multiple is universally flattering for almost any skin tone. It allows for a healthy dose of illuminating peachy pink color for your eyes, cheeks, and lips. This all in one should be a staple for any woman on the go, because it can be applied with a finger or directly from the stick and then blended into the skin. Perfect for a flushed, sun kissed look.

Next, for eyes try a lengthening, curling mascara to give your eyes a boost. Try Dior’s ‘Diorshow’ Unlimited Mascara ($24). This mascara has an extra-fix formula that adds suppleness and staying power, for all day wear.

For quick lip application, a basic palette that will work from day to night is a great choice. Try a lip palette like Bobbi Brown’s Basics Lip Palette ($45). These universal colors have flattering combination of high shine glosses and lipsticks. For those days when you want more than a gloss, but less than a full pigmented lipstick these moisturizing colors allow for the ability to be worn alone or mixed together for a personalized look.

And if you’re the women that want’s something even simpler try, Rosebud’s Salve ($6). This cult favorite, multi-purpose lip balm soothes dry lips, calms and heals irritation. It has a great berry tint for a hint of color to the lips. It is also great for cuticles, dry elbows, knees, and even for minor burns. Who would not love this in their bag?

So, yes ladies on-the-go, only a few simple products will do!
